Advice PSU and Case for new editing rig

Jack Harry

@WoodenMarker

I would like to know what you think of this one It seems to be very popular and backed by 7 yr warranty. Also it's gold rated.
OR this one but it's ony 3 yrs and silver rate. However it's 600W
Question is, is it enough for a 290 OV and CPU oc?
Thanks

The 550 G is excellent.

The Silverstone psu isn't as good.

Either would be plenty for oc'ing.

The Silverstone Strider Plus 600w is a good unit if you want something that is fully modular. SS G does offer better build quality, efficiency, and electrical performance.

Here's a review of the Silverstone: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Silverstone/ST60F-PS/1.html

One of the Seasonic: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Seasonic/G550/1.html

And yes, both is good for what you need it to do.
