Best Intel Processor?

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

i7 4790k and a Z97 motherboard

I am wanting to upgrade my processor to an Intel with LGA 1550 or LGA 1155 socket. I was wondering what is the best Intel I7 or I5 I can get for Heavy Editing and Live streaming, and Gaming? I am looking to keep it under $350 Also, I would like to know a motherboard that would go great with that. I would like to keep the motherboard under $150, it doesn't have to be great, I only need one graphics card slot at the moment with my 780TI. Thanks for the help in advance! I would like to keep the whole build here under $500. The processor doesn't need to be overkill, but I want it future proof. Thanks again!

My Current Build(In a Netshell)

AMD FX - 8350

GTX 780TI ASUS OC Edition

750w Corsair HX

ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

8GB Crucial Ballistix Ram

Go with 1150, 1155 is old news.  1150 will support the next Intel CPU as well, Broadwell.

The 3570K is just a great CPU. And still preforms as well as 4th gen.

I'd say go with a 4790K and something like an ASRock Z97 Fata1ity Killer (think that's what it's called)
