Mp3 ringtone in Android

Warpheus

Hi, i tried to define a song as my default ringtone on my android phone. But i could not do it . Browsing the web brought up some rather shady "ringtone converter" apps :D

So i just tried changing the file ending from XXXXX.mp3 to XXXXX.mp4. Et voila it worked.

Have fun

Using the standard music player, you can set a mp3 file as your phone ringtone (For phone calls and/or notifications)

Use ringtone maker by big bang inc.

Not the best interface but it lets you do quite a lot including customizing alarm sounds as well
