STRONG WiFi adapter...looking for advice.

alfa has pretty much the best adapters ever

 

i have the old G wifi model and i could pickup pretty much everything

 

This. I have an AWUS036NHV with the Alfa directional antenna on it, and can pick up my full bandwidth with pings about ~+1 to 5 ms over what I get on wired from a distance of about 45 feet, through two walls.

 

Long ranges in a USB package, you can't go wrong with Alfa.

I live in a guest house about 30 ft. away from the router that I pick up the signal from. 

 

I'm using a Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G Adapter. 

 

The signal is pretty good...but I want to make it super strong.

 

What's a good upgrade in terms of being able to pick up the signal and maintain a strong connection?

 

Name's and model #'s would be appreciated.
