Revamping My Current Build

An Idea to Revamp my Current Build

If you read over my profile you'll see my current build. My new idea is to get a new case, new mobo, another HDD and later on a new CPU. I want to see what you guys think about this idea.

Here is the the List:

  • NZXT H440 Black/Red
  • NZXT Sleeve Kraken G10 GPU Bracket
  • Swiftech H220x water cooler
  • Corsair H55 water cooler (for my gtx 770)
  • WD 2TB HDD
  • Intel Core i7-4790k
  • ASUS Maximus VI Formula Motherboard

My primary reason for this is to not get as much dust (I know it's like impossible to get rid of dust) by switching to water cooling because of the ridiculous amount of fans in my case as of now. Well this is more the primary reason (whatever), was to overclock my CPU and GPU quite a bit. But I would like to see what y'all other people think of this idea of a revamp. I'll post pictures in another Topic if I do this.

I wants ta build da PC's brah.

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

It might be best to find a replacement cooling block that supports liquid cooling that is specifically made for graphics cards rather than using one that was made for a CPU. You'll probably get better performance, it'll probably look a lot cooler, and you won't have to worry about the risks or a jury rigged setup. That's just my opinion do with it what you will. :D

Yeah I would love to do that but I'm not confident in myself to do a custom loop yet. I've just built this rig not to long ago, and I've always been into computers for a long time and my family helped me get my current build. So basically I'm still learning.

Hmmmm well after looking around the internet, there doesn't seem to be a gtx 770 that comes with a pre-build loop. However, I would encourage you to simply just do some research and learn how to make a custom loop, it's really not so hard if you learn how. All you need is a pump, a resivoir, some compression fittings, some hose, and a radiator (I suggest at least a dual radiator for your build).

Linus did a video on making a custom watercooled pc which could help you in learning how to do it. I linked it below.

Anywhoo, I hope I helped!
