Painting MOD For P67 Sabortooth

ELSknutson

Is it ok to paint the heat sinks on the P67 Sabortooth  motherboard? and Is there a safe way to go about doing it if possible?

I'd take off the heatsink first just to prevent extra masking of the motherboard, usually it's held in with a few screws on the back, and as SovierOnion said use light coats to prevent a thick layer of paint from forming.

I just recently did mine on a sabertooth 990fx in my Cosmos Sv2 project. Remove the heatsink from the board(make sure you can buy some thermal pads in case you damage the ones on your heatsinks). Get just about any type of spray paint(heatsink shouldn't be getting got enough to damage normal paint). Apply 2-4very thin coat and let dry. Clean and replace any thermal pads and paste you need to then reinstall heatsink back onto the board.

That is looking sharp!

If it doesn't void the warranty remove the labels on the PSU and radiators, full black out with a few white accents.

the board I got used form Amazon for 90.00 so if it fails im not too worried. If it was a new board I don't think i would of taken on something so ambiguous.
