hi everyone

 

i have a new computer

i5 3570k

h60 water cooling

asus p8-z77-v pro

hd 7870

 

i want to get the CPU overclocked to maybe 4.0 or 4.2

 

and i live in London, Victoria

 

so does anyone know someone or company

in London (preferably near Victoria) that's good at overclocking, i want a reliable service

i don't want to take it home and realize all they did was up the clock speed ( and didn't test it out) 

and now my computer just keeps overheating

 

any help or recommendation would be great

Do it yourself, there is no company that does it for you

just do it yourself... it's not hard... just watch a couple of videos and follow along

or you can just use the auto-overclocking on your motherboard

Hello @gariter, I would strongly recommend that you overclock yourself.   Don't worry if you don't know how, there are many overclocking guides out there, Linus and OC3D have some really good ones.

 

Overclocking on ivybridge is relativity easy, I'm sure you will pick it up fairly quickly.

not to me, at least i would not want anyone overclocking for me

I meant in my country since most people here don't know much about PCs (I even know people who have unlocked CPUs and don't even overclock)...

 

The shop would offer package deals, then charge extra for OC tiers...

 

And... since it's usually hot as hell here, there's money to be made since the shop will be making sure that the overclock would be stable at average room temp + 20C...

ik most people i now think they will kill their cpu if they even enter bios

I doubt you will find a company to do the OCing for you but if you are not inclined to do it yourself you can use the AI Suite hat ASUS has to do the OCing for you and you should get a cool 4.2Ghz to 4.4ghz easily and without you having to do any waiting to get a stable OC.
