Half the size just as TUF! By SAV1OUR

Half the size just as TUF!

by the one the only SAV1OUR

Ello' everyone, finally managed to save up parts for my rig changes I'll list them below. While its nothing fancy like quad loops and such it fills my goals of having a smaller case than the phantom 530, the other goals i was hoping for with the rig was to finally have another sabertooth motherboard after i give my z77 one and a 3570k to my friend earlier this year as a birthday gift.

Parts:

i5 4670k: upgraded to this earlier this year and didn't feel like changing to the refresh so ill stick with this

H100i: this will be my first personal AIO upgrading form a 212 evo and ill be using 2 x SP120's quiet editions

Z97 Sabertooth: HUUUUUUUUUUUUNG i'm a huge fanboy of this series so i badly wanted one

Kingston Blue 8gb (4x2):EH being reused from my current rig, Ill be upgrading to 4x4gb Platnums in a few weeks when i have the money http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007Z1CUTG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

ASUS Direct CU II GTX 680: had this thing for ages now and its a beast ill be upgrading to sli 1000 or whatever amd has when they release. the 680 is still more than enough for 1080p and 1440p gaming

Storage: Don't ask.. just a bunch of random drives

Corsair RM 850w: yes yes i know ew a RM series psu. while the lower wattage psu's may be poor quality the higher wattage ones aren't that bad

Fractal Arc Midi R2: Smaller than the phantom 530 and the main reason i upgraded because i was finding the case too large

Next changes

I love the look of that motherboard. Just wish it wasn't camo color and was a flat black.

it's more the beige-ish color of the PCI slots and the RAM slots.

I don't mind the army camo at all. just that weird ass tan (maybe it looks better in person who knows)

Blackout boards (see MSI SLI plus X99), Black/Orange (SOC Force), or a black and purple one if such a thing existed.

black and blue can be cool too though

EDIT: OOH RAINBOW BOARDS TOO

Same, I'd prefer a black/white colour pallet.

Like the X99 Deluxe, best mobo I've set my eyes on.

you could always mod it like linus did, i'm actually temped to add red and black highlights to it so it matches my 680

That sounds like a cool project though.
