overClocking error without overclocking

i just built my computer recently and out of the box, and without overclocking , my computer shuts down and displays a message saying my last overclock settings have failed and to chose one of the options below. 

 

im not overclocking my system at all, and havent played around in the bios 

 

my system

cpu i5-4690k

gpu r9 290 tri-x from sapphire

mobo - msi z97-g55

ram 16gb huperX

Maybe try a BIOS update?
