Opinions on Moto 360 Watch

reiderj8

I have been rocking a pebble for a long time now and I'm thinking about getting a Moto 360 watch. For anyone who has had time to play around with it, I was wondering what your experiences and impressions have been like. Honestly, I was planning to wait til HTC released a smart watch just because I was hoping for exceptional build quality like what they have done for the One. But, rumor has it that their smart watch was concealed.

Played with them in best buy, I love it. yeah its battery life isnt as good as a pebble, but at best buy they had all of the smart watches. they all looked like toys compared to the moto. visually, its amazing. both the interface and physically. its something you could wear all the time, where the pebble looks "geeky". I would recommend it and purchasing one when it gets back in stock.

its still so cool to see something from kickstarter next to Samsung and Motorola products at the front of the store.

the battery life reviews seem to be a mixed bag,

over at xda forums many claim to get through a day easily. which imo is decent.

i think the key is multiple charge/discharge cycles. I would think that early reviews simply benched the watch right out of the box.

I suggest handling one in person. At first I wasn't dead set on purchasing one, but after handling it and trying it on, I was convinced to buy one.

Review by MKBHD

There's a deal where it is currently available for me for 179€ (≈ $231.55 but including taxes) and I would have bought it, but then i wouldn't really have a use to have notifications always pushed to a watch. Apps like Facebook or Watsapp aren't getting on my phone and for other notifications I just check my phone. Also i don't really use 3G/LTE or any other mobile Internet service because of costs and I use only WiFi on my phone for internet depending things.

I don't like the aesthetics. If the body is going to be circular or oval, better make the wristband wide. It looks too feminine for me.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.
