Hello all!

This is my first post here, so I hope that I put it in the correct section. I have just bought myself a Corsair Graphite series 780t, having been enamored with it since Computex 2014.

I watched the recent 780t review from the channel, and Linus made a fantastic point: the case would look fantastic with a separate power supply compartment.

I know right now it is really too early to see any well implemented mods on a 780t, but I was wondering if there are any products on the market that would perform a similar function,

or if I would have to cut and bend the metal myself. In case someone has not seen the bit of video I am talking about, here is a link:

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!

I actually bought this case yesterday, Arriving tomorrow and am planning this mod myself, I'm going to get some plexi, Cut it to shape, Heat it and bend it in the appropriate place.

The reason I would go for plexi is because it will be cheaper to buy, Cut and bend it rather than getting a piece of metal, Cutting, Bending etc...

I'm also going to be covering up the parts were the SSD's are mounted.

I think that's a sensible idea, let me know how that works for you!

My issue is that pretty much all of the plexi I've seen has a very glossy finish, and I was hoping for something more matte.

Well I bought the plexi, Still waiting on a friend of mine to bend it for me though as he has a heating rod type thing, Once it's bent into shape I'm covering the outer part with carbon fiber di-noc so the gloss finish will not be seen :)

I just bought the 780t as well, I will say the cable management can be a little hard especially with a 360mm rad up top with push pull but I was able to get everything in and make it perfect. I didnt spend a whole lot of time on this either.

Made a PSU cover from plexi, Got it cut to shape, Then had it bent at one side using a weird hot pipe bending machine thingy *That's the scientific word for it* then covered it in carbon fiber di-noc :)

if anyone is interested in making a .DXF file for a basement to this case id be willing to cut it out and even bend it. if you can come up with a better solution than me and have the .DXF files ill make you one also in return for your cad work
