What tripod is considered good bang for buck 100-150$

3pod, well depends if it is for video or photography and type of head you like

I'm not entirely sure of the U.S price but the Manfrotto 190X is a good tripod for ~£140 in the UK, I use the older, larger version with a 502HD head on my 70D and have had no problems with it. However you would need a head with it and they can set you back another ~$100+.

I love my manfrotto compact but im sure thats way below your price range, it cost me $127NZD and it convinced me to stay with manfrotto. 

 

Comes with a head too :)
