Razer Deathadder 2013 or Logitech G502

aduman

Hi guys!

I was just looking at some stuff in Amazon and noticed Deathadder is currently %43 off and got pretty excited. I didn't rush it though and noticed the G502 from Logitech while looking through other mice. What do you think? Is G502 the better option?

Edit: I forgot to add, I currently have a Steelseries Sensei and a Deathadder black edition. I just couldn't find a comfortable grip on Sensei. Deathadder feels much more comfy for my hand. I'm mostly a palm grip guy, rarely switch to claw for some precision shots. :D

EDIT/Conclusion: Got the G502! :) Thanks for all the help!

I've used a Deathadder and a Logitech G502

G502, hands down. Best. Mouse. Ever. its comfortable, has 11 buttons that are all easy to reach, scroll wheel is amazing, Weight system is nice, I like Logitech's software better than Razers (it loads quicker from icon tray)

If you cant go with the G502, go with the G402

I STRONGLY prefer the G502 to the DA 2K13. It's way better built, feels better in the hand, has a better sensor, alle the buttons have a nicer click feeling. Deathadder has a better scroll wheel though.

The G502 is amazing. But for a better budget you might want to buy a G402, a cheaper, slightly cut down version of the G502.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Hmm, sounds like G502 is the way to go. But what about the price difference? Non of you mentioned it on the replies. :)

I found the G402 to have a horrible right side compared to the G502.

This is way better than my Razer Oroborus which was 150 dollars.

I took the hit in the wallet, and its fantastic. Also, you wont be taking anymore hits for the next 3 years thanks to Logitech's 3 year warranty instead of Razers 2 years.

If you want something that is going to work and not blow you away, get the Deathadder or G402. If you want something that will shake your world, get the G502.

Damn, that's a really expensive mouse right there. I might go with Logitech but I currently have a Deathadder Black Edition and really love the way it fits my hand. I have a Sensei too and just don't like the comfort it offers for me. Just wanted to get the new Deathadder for an upgrade... I'm not sure if G502 will fit my hand as well as my current Deathadder does..

Not exactly that's kinda a misconception people are having because it looks almost identical. the g402 uses the g100s sensor and the g502 has an entirely different sensor that is a lot more accurate and can be tuned to a specific surface. in other words the g402 is not just a cheaper g502.

having owned both the g502 hands down.

Does it worth the price difference over Deathadder? Only thing holding me back is this.

G502 fits my palm grip better than any other mouse. And I've tried the Naos, DA, Imperator, Rival, Kana, G402, Sensei, Rival, Avior, G400s, G500 and Alcor

Agreed. Already have a black edition and love the comfort. I just wanted to upgrade the sensor by getting the 2013 DA since the exterior is the same.

That sounds really really convincing for me. I really appreciate this one. Thank you! :) I'll probably get the G502. Sounds like G502 is the best mouse you've ever owned. :)

Both of them are good choices and have a good sensor, so it should really come down to price/ergonomics/hypersensitiverazerbuttons.

It is. There really is no other mouse I'd rather use at the moment :). I'm just so happy I bought it.

There was always something ergonomically wrong with all the other mice, but the G502 just felt right kinda.

I did actually physically remove the sniper button though, so now it's actually perfect for me.

I also just changed the feet today to hotline games competition edition 0.6mm ones. The glide is way better, and they seem more sturdy. My G502 has the first batch feet though, you shouldn't have any problems since they fixed the feet issue.

I can't guarantee that you will like the G502 as much as I do, but it's really worth a try. You can always send it back if you don't like it.
