I don't wanna make the same mistake twice

So I just bought a new graphics card, going from a GT 610 in my pre built "gaming" pc to a GTX 750ti and the day before I bought the graphics card my PSU died on me. I went on amazon and bout a 40$ 725W sentey PSU, it had great reviews are figured it was a steal. The day I went to install it I noticed it didn't come with a cord to plug into my CPU so I emailed the company and they gave me a full refund so now that I don't wanna make that same mistake again, what is a good PSU for my build, try and keep it somewhat cheap but quality over quanity lol I don't wanna buy some crappy PSU and cause shorts and stuff like that.

Just get a Bronze 400-ish watt from Corsair on Newegg or Amazon.

Corsair CS550M, Corsair CX500M, EVGA NEX 650 are all very good choices. My recommendation goes towards the CS550M, this will give you headroom for future upgrades/OC'ing/devices.

If really budget, the EVGA 500B or Corsair CX430 will do.

 

If you can spend more, an XFX XTR 550 is really nice.

Sentey is an Intel partner and a SuperFlower OEM, but they not 80+ PSUs are not that good, if you want to buy from them, find their 80+ Bronze series.

Corsair, XFX, Cooler Master, Fractal Design and Seasonic usually have good PSUs for tight budgets.

really wouldnt the 8core and a 750ti need like 500-550? didnt really check. i like to have about 100W overhead just to keep the noise down

Something as basic as a Corsair CX430M would be fine, but if you can swing it, get a higher wattage CX power supply or a CS power supply.

ok i threw together a build with what he posted and its only around 300-350w so yeah the one i posted is way overkill. a 450w or so would be fine unless he planned on upgrading to a better card or something

antec vp-450 can be had for dirt cheap at times. good budget psu.
