A great suggestion but it's 21.5" ): if there's a monitor similar like this with 23" - 24" that would be perfect (:

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a 1080p IPS monitor for gaming/watching movies, I've searched around and the best monitors that i could find were these:

I want the best possible experience (image/color quality) with no ghosting or input lag.

My budget is $220. Any other suggestions would be great  :)

Thanks!

PLS isnt really superior...

It is if you want accurate colors and wide viewing angles it beats IPS granted it doesn't beat IPS by as much as IPS beats TN but it still beats IPS without any real cons in comparison

Even Linus prefers PLS...

As some one that has a IPS panel and PLS panel side by side, It is damn near identical. I doubt OP needs 10 bit color anyways

why not if it still fits in his budget and he specifically asked for the most color accurate with the widest viewing angles and if it's gonna be used for a computer there's a high chance of it being 10 bit color capable...AMD-Radeon cards output 10bit color...

I have an R9 290 card, Will PLS vs IPS really makes that big of a difference?

PLS usually has 10Bit color support IPS usually has 8bit color support... and PLS usually has slightly better viewing angles

for color bit difference

Note: If you have an nvidia card(not for you since you don't for anyone reading) Geforce cards not even Titans support 10bit color only Quadros, and Radeon cards do; Geforce cards exclusively support 8bit and below... FirePros usually support 12bit...

How about the eizo foris fs2434? Not many reviews out there but the ones i found were positive plus eizo had a good history with monitors for proffesional photo/video edditing. So one can only assume they know their ips pannels. Only 60hz though and refresh rate at 4.9 ms
