I'm just wondering, if I ever go crossfire, would my Evga Supernova NEX650G 650 W be enough for 2 280x?

No, get at least an 800W branded quality PSU. Preferably 850W.

Might be a little borderline although I'm not 100% sure, just for the need for extra wattage for dual 280X in CFX look towards buying a 750w power supply with a decent silver 80+ certification.

yes its enough. if you don`t oc the cpu your pc would use around ~500W in load with 2x280x . a 750W psu is enough for dual 290X

each one pulls around 250w max so that leaves you about 100w for your cpu since a psu doesnt ever put out 100 percent of what its rated for so its cutting it kinda close imo

a 280X uses 208W . a 290 uses 245W
