Recommend me a new mouse and keyboard

nanowatt

The look for me is very important and the only thing i want from them is  to be made of aluminium(if you have something that look good then it doesn't matter if it's aluminium or not just name the product). The price is not a problem.I also want them to be very responsive and have a few(more) extra buttons if possible.

@nanowatt What's your favourite cherry mx flavour? blue, red, brown blacks?

I think only Corsair produce well made-aluminium mice.

G402 G400s G502, one of these, MAYBE Razer deathadder or Mionix 7000. most others arent very good, a few expections exists ofcourse but you have enough options here i thinkj :)

for keyboard, there are TONS with like 80% of them not being on EU markets and many not on US markets either, ebay has those, so  look around and your perfect keyboard probably exists.

If you've never tried any cherry mx keyboards I'd highly suggest 100% try out a few, you'll be more knowledgeable which key type has a snappy feel for you. If you're looking for clicky* clacky* sounding keyboards probably look for blues or greens <--more expensive. Reds have been oriented around many gamers choice.

The CM storm mech doesn't look that bad, I think Jayztwocents has one personally. If you have a bit of time try have a quick read of this article which elaborates on the characteristics of the cherry mx lineage : An introduction to Cherry MX mechanical switches | The Keyboard Company

I use the Steelseries setup! ;-)

My keyboard is the 6GV2 with black switches, but it is now available with red clicking switches as well. That this doesn't look super fancy, has no lighting and that kinda stuff. I did want a simple looking sturdy keyboard and this thing is built like a tank!

My mouse is the Sensei RAW, which I just bought. I love the mouse. Had a Logitech Performance Mouse MX before that and the Sensei RAW is way better in my opinion. I also like the fairly clean look of the mouse.

My best buddy has a Roccat Kone Pure. Also very nice, just don't like how it behaves when lifting off some surfaces, with a mouse pad this is no issue though and on his desk it works great, somehow my desk is different....

My brother has the G700s- Also a good mouse. Solid performance across the board. I just don't like the looks very much, but I think you can't really go wrong with this one.

I thought red switches didn't make any click sound/feeling?

and to OP: I'd suggest the Logitech G502 as mouse and a Corsair K70/95 (normal or RGB is up to you)

Note: The K95 only has Blue/Brown switches with the RGB version, not the normal one. And the K95 has 18 extra macro buttons compared to the K70.

Oh and a cheap but still fairly good alternative to gaming keyboards are the cherry G80s. You can get them with the Cherry MX Switches you like best and here they are only 60 bucks. My brother has one and it is perfectly fine unless you really need 1000 makro keys. ;-)

You are right! SORRY FOR THAT!!!

Still, I love my keyboard. I could defend myself using it as a weapon! ;-)

Do you care for ergonomics/comfort?

The Razer Deathadder/Mamba mouse format is the best I have ever used. Fits my hand really well and it's made of a plastic that feels good to touch.

I have not used the Logitech G710+ yet but, as of today, that will be the keyboard I will buy.

There are many opinions regarding keyboards but it has everything I want: macros, in-volume control, Cherry MX Browns and it's backlit.

There are many different opinions on it though(here, , here and here). I think that the CM Storm Trigger (Z) looks better but I just can't find where to buy it.

Find out what you really need (be that looks, comfort, budget or funcionalities), it will narrow down the options of what you want to buy.

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO | PSU: CM Silent Pro 720W | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe | Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2100 | Keyboard: Logitech G710+ | Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma
