Need new cpu fan

bobman279

I have a old motherboard with a Pentium something not sure what the model name is I disassembled it partially and now I have no cpu fan at all What would be a good fan to cool this? and it has to be small around stock fan size The socket for the cpu is a lga 775

Anyone that tells me to put the old one back in i lost it (AKA MISSING NON EXISTANT THAT IS WHAT "I have no cpu fan at all" MEANS

ok?

Forgot to mention that the cpu is still on the motherboard but that is in a micro atx case

is it possible to get a new stock fan for it?

I will not be overclocking

You might need an 80/92mm fan. Measure where it mounts and get one that fits.

Could probably find a stock Intel LGA775 cooler on Ebay, but there are plenty of low cost, low profile coolers available.

Don't know where you live, so I can't link you a local retailer, but something like this should do the trick if you don't feel like potentially buying a box with a rock in it off of Ebay.

Many CPU coolers on the market have LGA775 brackets, check out newegg or something and you'll find a cooler
