will this after market gpu cooler fit and be worth it

jamese669

You could probably get a better gpu if you sold your 660's.

Imo it's not worth it at all

If you have the reference cooler which sounds like a frigging turbine engine and launches air out the arse of your case, then yes it's better.

But i'm not sure if it'd be better if you're SLI'ing, will have to get confirmation from someone who knows more about multi-gpu setups than i.

Hello

At this point, especially with the release of maxwell coming soon, the kepler architecture used in 600 series is more obsolete than ever. I would wait for the release of maxwell or get a good Kepler 700 series card. Perhaps a 780 or 780ti

Hope this helps ;)

If your pci slot are far enough apart to support them and they can fit length wise you can give it a shot.

Thats what I got for my 660 ti's. Not sure what model is used during linus's tests but 660ti sli is normally up there. I assume yours are the none ti version.

If there website says they fit then you will be fine.

Could we be a little bit more professional and mature in our answers?

i will probably upgrade to a 780ti or wait till next gen (800/900 What ever there going with) but if i sell now ill be without for a while, and need to use  my pc for college which was the reasoning for just getting these and oc'ing for now but it seems its not worth it so ill probably save and wait and upgrade.  thinking maby this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-309-AS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1341 and maby sli later on in the future
