Help with Upgrade

Looking to upgrade my Graphics card from a ASUS HD7770-2GD5 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 to a more recent card. I use my computer for gaming and need something with more power. I'd prefer not to spend more than $350 on a card.

Current Rig is:

Gigabyte B75M-D3H Motherboard

Intel i5-2320 Quad core 3GHz CPU

8GB of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 RAM

Windows 7

APEVIA ATX-AQ700W-BK 700W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Let me know if I missed anything and thanks in advance!

R9 280x

You'll need 2x 8-pin PCIE power connectors though.

You can find 280x's for around the $200 mark. For an extra $100 you can throw in a 240gb SSD into your system, and still have $50 to buy yourself some delicious pizza tonight.

I've also found reference 290's in local buy and sells here for around $250. Believe it or not, they haven't all been used for mining as they'll try and make you believe here.

Buy that, spend another $100 on a liquid cooler, VRAM heat sinks and the NZXT kit, and water cool that bitch. It'll be pretty beastly.

Yeah I would go with a 770, because of shadowplay but if you want more performance you would go with a 290

Where did you find 280x's for around $200? I'm only seeing them around $300.  Additionally, what SSD would you suggest? I've been considering grabbing one.

Depends on your budget. Corsair Neutron GTX, Hyper X 3k, Samsung 840 EVO are all good. The Sandisk Ultra II is the one on sale right now for $100, but the MX100 is around the same price.

The SP920 from Adata is also a solid choice.

Budget SSD's (that's what Crucial calls the MX series) always makes me cautious. I'm sure they're fine though.

NCIX's Outlet website sells them for $225 if you're not worried about having no warranty. You can pick up refurbished ones for around $200 from MSI on Amazon.

Shadowplay has me interested but I can't seem to find any 770 cards that are as cheap as the 280x's

Scratch that, I found

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500302&nm_mc=OTC-Shopping&cm_mmc=OTC-ShoppingNet-_-Electronics-_-ZOTAC-_-N82E16814500302&scpid=8&scid=scsho5467172&sdc_id=1409617601z22868zz52073b0a25419z

and

Which would you guys advise? Or should I spend more and get the card from a different company? Does Zotac have lowe build quality? is that why that one is so much cheaper than every other GTX 770 card I can find?

Another thing I just noticed is that the 280x comes with 3 games and the GTX 770 only comes with Borderlands Pre-Sequel.

Considering it's a refurbished reference PowerColor card, while it is cheaper, you would want to either get an aftermarket cooler or get something non-refrence to avoid that GPU's heat output.

I bought a SAPPHIRE 100363L Radeon R9 280X and it just arrived but I've since noticed that it requires a 750W PSU and my PSU is only 700W. Any suggestions on a good PSU to upgrade to?  Computer color theme is black and red.

Had the wrong PSU listed on my parts list at the top. This is the one I have.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817148046
