Zalman reserator 3 max bad?

So ive heard a lot of people completely shi**ing on this cooler but im not sure why apart from of course the uncommon appearance in comparison to the other AIOs.

One of the biggest problems ive seen is that people say that this cooler performs very badly but ive not seen any reviews which have said that or shown in it.

 

Here is an example of that

So its pretty much slightly behind the corsair h110 in most of the tests and pricewise its £5 cheaper according to amazon(of course prices can go up or down, sideways).

So other then the odd appearance what do you think is the problem with this cooler.

I've heard that it runs quite warm and its noiseier then it should be.

Same here, as far as i have read its quiet loud, and the inability to swap the fans out for quieter, higher performing fans is a bit lame. Plus its pretty fuggers too :P
