Favorite Media Player?

PokémonTrainerFour

Do you have a favorite media player? Do you think a certain one has a better quality to it?

If you have some one off indie media player, sorry that I didn't include it :(

I was using PotPlayer for a while, even though I hated the way it sorted music. Now I just use iTunes because I had a gift card and I bought some music.

Windows Media Player Classic, with CCCP for movies/anime etc.

Foobar2000 for music.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

For music, foobar2000. For videos, VLC with CCCP does the job.

Well it depends, am I watching local content or streaming it from my server (on my home network)? If it's local, then I use Media Player Classic, if I'm streaming it I use Plex.

I've been really happy with musicbee, has a lot of features and configuration, but is easier to use out of the box than something like foobar2000. There's also an included metro skin that's pretty nice:

For video I use vlc, but I'll probably be switching to MPC-HC since vlc has been crashing a lot for me in windows 8.1 :/

I use PotPlayer for videos, if I didn't, I doubt it would have made the list, it's so far off the beaten path.

I have a great UI mod as well, I love it. It makes PP look somewhat metro-y (the Win8 kind of metro)

I'm very interested in that mod, can you provide a link?

It's not the most common player but it works very well.

Musicbee is awesome. As good as foobar but works well and looks good straight out the box.

Make the switch, MPC-HC is great. It's slightly better then VLC in most respects, but especially when it comes to picture quality.
