Server "gameing" or new laptop

Hey i'm not gaming very much lately but, i still want the chance to play low level games like Lol and Diablo 3 i have a Asus Z9PE-D8 motherboard and 2 Xeon E5-2620V2 cpu and running server 2012.

thinking that i can install windows 8.1 on a flashdrive and buy a old used gfx.

or is it better to buy a used laptop?

Sum up

install win 8.1 and add a gpu or buy a laptop.

I don't really know the american maket, but i thinking 2-300$ which i think should be fine for a used top tier graphics card.

Honestly , servers are standalone machines . I'd recommended you get a laptop or consider a budget rig . If you still want to run your game on the server then get another hard drive (data safety ) . And get an ASUS directCUII gtx 760 within 300$. I'm not sure about used cards though. You'll have to provide links.

I know very little about laptop gaming but for low demanding games It might be better with laptop than having to install more things for your computer.

Have you tried playing LoL without gpu on that computer, does it work at all?

Since I mostly look at gaming performance when it comes to computers I prefer stationary ones, and if you don't mind it adding gpu to a stationary computer will prob be better in the long run.

This is what I think. Let me know what you chose and it how it worked out.
