Can I somehow speed my ssd?

Guest Onlynormalgamer
Go to solution Solved by Ex0Thermic,

Disable "Windows Search" Service
Right click on the SSD drive in my computer, click on properties and untick "Allow files on the drive to have contents indexed" and click OK.

Open Disk Defragmenter, click on "Configure Schedule" The "Select Disk" and untick and SSD drives.
Disable hibernation by typing CMD in start menu, then right click and run as administrator. in Command prompt type "powercfg -h off" (without qupte marks) and hit enter button on keyboard

lastly if you have enough ram or have a 2nd hdd you can disable or move page to 2nd hdd

I have samsung evo 840.250gb and windows 7 on it. I just bought computer yesterday so I have only 2 games on it,that is only about 15gb taken.
I heard something that I should turn off ssd format,or something like that, that it will give small  boost in perfomance.
Is there something I can do to speed it up?

turn off indexing for the SSD, turn of auto defrag, and if you have more than 4 gigabythes of ram, you can dedicate up to a certain amount to be used as cache for frequent stuff, so the system seems more responsive.

then are the more not reccomended things, you can overclock the sata controller, and the ssd controller to achieve better troughput, but will void warranty on pretty much everything but your GPU. also, it will probably be unstable and generally not worth it

Download Samsungs Magician SSD tool. You can make a lot of Settings with it, benchmark your SSD and speed it up with Rapid Mode, which caches your drive with RAM.
