Given the choice between 3 internet connections

Hey guys,

 

Bored as hell so might as well post this...

 

Given the three choices above, which will you most likely use more often?

 

Extra details on the connections:

Choice 1: 2Mbps/512kbps with 25%-50% throttling

What it says above... Throttling is heavy esp. with ftp, torrent, and streaming...

 

Choice 2: 15Mbps/5Mbps with censorship and access controls

Limited access.. no torrents, pr0nz, limited ftp, lots of sites are blocked even if they are clean...

Forgot this one: NO VPNs... Not even extensions...

 

Choice 3:3Mbps/1Mbps with 20% throttling and 90% reliability

What it says above... Throttling is present most of the time, but speeds can reach 5Mbps at around 2am-4am...

 

 

Consider the ff.: all three have the same rates and the same latencies...

So you basically have to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. gg ez.

EDIT: As suggested above, middle and VPN. should work. if not use a different VPN. Or 20 different.

Where do you live? SEEMS like you need tp use a vpn / tor network. Use another internet connection to download tor / a vpn.

The middle one is a university network... lots of red tape for acessing a blacklisted site even for legitimate research...

 

The other two have no workarounds... Not even a VPN can remove the throttling...

It depends. On my download cap, if I cross the limit, it turns out very very bad. 

It's like I can download A gig in about 10 hours. Depending on other users using the same network, my download cap and that throttle..

Middle one, and if they won't allow you to use a VPN, set up a SOCKS proxy.
