The SanDisk Ultra II 240GB is on sale for $99.99.

Usually when you see these kinds of prices you expect the SSD to drop the ball with random read and write IOPS, however the Ultra II keeps up with the rest of the high end SSDs.

The speeds below are for (from top to bot) seq. read, seq. write,4k random read,4k random write.

Yup, SanDisk Ultra SSDs are good quality and very well priced.  Got a 120GB Ultra Plus -$55 for my friend's computer and it blows my Kingston V300 out of the water when it comes to benchmarks.  In terms of real-world performance and boot times, I don't notice a difference.

I want this, but I live in Finland, so there is no hope. 

I already have a 128Gb ultra plus anyway.

I think the crucial drives are not much more than this. I would rather grab a mx100 over to SanDisk one.

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Yes...but NewEgg has a MUCH better price on the 480gb model, which is the one I'd be aiming for.

Sandisk drives seem to have great quality can reliability + I think they manufacture there own flash

I doubt the write speeds actually make that much of a difference in real life. Also the MX is actually $10 cheaper. The Sandisk is $220 at Newegg and the MX100 is $210 on Amazon.

I have this drive! it's a nice piece of hardware for a great price and the sandisk ssd dashboard allows you to update the firmware of the ssd very easily. I have a dual boot of osx and windows on my hackintosh but only osx is running on a ssd I might consider getting one at 100 bucks 

i7 3770k - sandisk ssd -evga gtx 660 - kraken x61 - 16gb corsair vengeance - nzxt h440 - logitech g502 proteus core- hackintosh = badass
