Need help choosing new motherboard.

Hello,

I need help to choose a new motherboard.

These are my options, (I live in Vancouver Canada)

MSI Z97 G55

MSI Gaming 5

Asus Z97-A

Which motherboard is best in terms of OC, cf, and features.

I play CS go, bf3 and bf4. My GPUs are 2 7950s and CPU is 4690k.

Thanks

Also please consider prices too, though not as much as performance.

the performance is around the same, but the reliability goes to ASUS though MSI is also very reliable, choose the one you like the most, you can't go wrong with any of the three, and take in account the color scheme

Planned I Hope Someday I Do First Build: CPU: Intel Core i7 5820k CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO Mobo: MSI X99S SLI PLUS RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4-2133Mhz Storage: Corsair Force LS 240GB SSD & 2TB WD Green Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 970 4GB Turbo Case: NZXT S340 White PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit OEM Monitor: AOC i2267Fw 60Hz 22" Monitor

Which would you go with? What about features can you compare them please?

Are these high end low end or mid range boards?

MSI Gaming 5

Why?

I would go with the gaming 5 i don't like the color of the ASUS, they are mid-range boards, they have the same feature overall

Why the gaming 5? Is it just color? It's more money... And if there is no diff just color, I quite like the look of all of them. The g55 is cheapest by $30 I think, so becuase of that is it the best option. How does it stack up to the others in terms of sound internet crossfire overclocking etc?

the g55 doesn't have a z97 chipset, so if you want to upgrade in the future to a 5th gen intel processor you'll need a new motherboard

Dude, do your own research.  Go onto the Asus website and look at the comparison list

the z97-k is mid-low, with the g55, the z97-a mid with the gaming 5 and the z97-p s is low end but not worth it

What's the diff between the k and a also the 2 MSI? Other than ranks? As in features and things I will actually use and see. Also which would you pick?

Which would you pick is there a large difference?

Buy either the Asus Z97-A or Asus Z97-AR.

Done.

Why?

It's cheaper than the Asus Z97-A. It looks better, can do SLI, has good onboard audio, is great for overclocking, has all PWM fan header, a great easy to use UI and is as good as the Hero VII while being a good bit cheaper. It is THE best choice from all the motherboards being listed here.

Just check out Anandtech and OC3D TV's review of it.
