IPS and 144hz will never exist. IPS delivers superior viewing angels, picture, and color reproduction. 144hz (TN) panels produce super fast response times and buttery smooth gameplay.

You have to pick and choose your battles.

If you're a hardcore competitive gamer, get the 144hz panel. If you're an all around computer user and want the best picture quality, get a quality IPS panel.

Speaking from experience, TN panels look washed out in comparison to a quality IPS display.

IPS is slow, so you can't really get 144Hz IPS unless its some cheap chinese monitor that has false advertising, or has an overclocked-like-hell panel that will probably fail instantly.

Korean monitors can run at 120hz fine for a long time

If you have the money look at the ROG Swift, best 144Hz monitor on the market right now.

It is 27 inch though, 2560 x 1440. 109DPI.
