How do OEM GPU cooler work

So I am wondering how do after market gpus-say EVGA acx- cooler the gpu? I am pretty sure the fans blow hot air from the gpu a way from it, but where does it get cool air into it?

 

Please tell me if I need to move this, thank you in advance for answers

When hot air is pushed away, new cold air comes in. It's just how air works. And yes, this should be in air cooling.

.....ACX is not an OEM cooler....

 

Coolers like the ACX works just like anything with a normal fans works, it pulls air from the front and shoots it out the back. It's pretty staightforward

The fans pull air in from their front and blow it through the heatsink towards the GPU's PCB.. The air will then usually be dispersed out of the top and sides of the card.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

Nevermind, I need to revise.

The most common result of insufficient wattage is a paperweight that looks like a PC

Most graphic cards are cooled by convection heat transfer, I think?

Its all about those volumetric clouds
