Custom GPU shroud for 7870XT

Jack.EXE

Alright, so My 7870XT is overheating (fans broke), so I bought some new fans, and I'm going to be building a custom shroud.

I'm painting before drilling, don't hate me!

The name of my build is called project kitsune, so I'd love to somehow get this etched onto the top.

I am also in the planning stages of making a cover for the 212 EVO.

I know I'm not going to be able to etch it, for a few reasons.

It's expensive, especially for a temporary solution (I plan to eventually replace the shroud with an NZXT G10 when I have the spare money)

and not sure how people would react to a naked fox girl on the top, lol.

if the naked fox girl is too much then take one of the pictures from sakura spirit, you have to be child friendly these days.

Cover for the EVO was easy, time to paint it!

Anyone got any ideas for etching on this one? (it wont happen, but it would be cool when I actually make permanent versions out of thicker aluminium.)

You can do dremel etching or in that case engraving like they do on glassware, it'd be easier and safer than doing chemical etching with concentrated acids vinyl masks.

It was more a "I'd like to someday" than a "I'm going to do this", I'd like to avoid the odd looks i'd get from my parents, lol.

Small update: I left the paint out in the sun to dry, and a wind storm came along. Not salvageable, sadly.

No matter, I had more aluminium, so I remade both, and I'll paint again tomorrow.
