How to make a USB to a boot drive?

Use a tool like UNetbootin or Pendrive Linux (Can also be used for other things than linux) to "copy" the iso to the usb drive.

Hi everyone!

I am going to make a media center of my old PC. So I am going to delete WIn7 from it and then install the OS "XMBC" on it. It is a media center OS!

My questions is:

How can I turn a USB to a boot drive?, I mean. How can I place the XMBC ISO file on it so when I stick the USB into the PC I get the XMBC Install screen?

Cheers!

I just unplugged all of my drives and installed the os like it was a regular hard drive. (make an install disk and select the flash drive as the install drive.) Just make sure it's plugged into a usb 2.0 port and has more than enough room for the os and other files.

It just takes a considerable more amount of time, but really easily portable.
