My first build

Rokhazula

Likely because there are many people who are unwilling to make the effort to educate themselves. But also because hammers are great for driving nails. Not so got with screws.

Corsair has never built a psu. There are some Corsair psu that get great reviews. The ones discussed in this thread are not among those. Not to say that the CX line is bad. Just that there are often better choices.

well hammers and screws =/= PSU. Moot point.

Yeah, but there are other Corsair PSUs, and they still have to ensure a level of quality since it's *branded* Corsair. Note how I never said they were *built* by Corsair.

Look, rave reviews, woot

The Corsair and Superflower are comparable at least, and the Superflower even costs more.

EDIT: Just because there are good reviews doesn't mean that the products will be excellent - look at Kingston - great reviews for the V300, and look at it now.

Corsair is a tried and true brand, and risking a whole system for a PSU isn't worth it.

wow way to go totally off topic and make irrelevant comments. Way to be a jackass.

Not when People like yourself are giving out bad advice. I wouldn't say x, y or z brand is poor if I didn't know anything about them. I would do a bit of research before hand so as not to make myself look stupid. Maybe you should try finding out how good something is before commenting next time

You guys went a bit off topic, but still. This is my finished build. It looks like it'll do well and handle well.

Any more recommendations or changes before I order these parts?

Sorry about that.

The psu should be EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR not the 120-PG-0750-GR in your list.

It is a touch more expensive than the Z97-A + WiFi adapter but you might consider Asus Z97-PRO(Wi-Fi ac) - dropping a couple of fans would take care of the added cost. The fans can easily be added later.
