ATH-M50 removable/replaceable ear pads?

Hey there everyone :)

I have been using a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50's since December 2013, but have had some trouble using them for more than about an hour, because the earpads have worn down (see here: http://i.imgur.com/7rMabmV.jpg) and cause my ears to hurt after short periods of time.

So my question is: is there a way the earpads can be easily replaced with a more comfortable material, and if so, are there any recommendations?

Thanks in advance :)
