Good camera for Beginning Photographer?

I've been taking an AP 2-D photography course in my high school, and i really love going around taking photos. My teacher thinks and i'm at it too, and says I should continue with photography. So I want to invest my money in a good camera thats good for beginners. Nothing really cheap and nothing really expensive. Thanks!

Canon 70D or 750D(will be out soon), or whatever equivalent from Nikon, try them out and see which one you like. Lenses are more important than camera body, invest in good lenses because camera body will be soon out of date, but good lens is good forever, I recommend Sigma18-35 F1.8 for good all round lens, Tokina 11-16 for landscape shoot.

I too would recommend this or the D3300, with the 35mm or 50mm 1.8

Nikon D5100 body, and get the 35mm prime lens or 50mm.

X-A1 or X-M1 is good budget cameras, or you can go with a X20 which looks nice a retro
