Is my monitor broken?

When I say monitor, I mean cheap TV from PC World.

Hey guys,

This pixelated effect shows on certain colours my monitor displays, greens dark yellows darkish reds.

Does this mean that my monitor is broken?

Possibly, but have you tried a different display device and different cable?

I had that a few weeks before my really old AOC monitor cut out. So yes, it's dying. I kept it going by turning it off to cool down for 45 minutes, which stopped it in the short term.

Thanks guys, and yes this doesn't show up on my 2nd monitor and I've tried a new cable.

So, a Korean monitor it is then!
