How to do well at school and play games

hezzajm

I play FPS games like Cod, Battlefield, Counter strike and have become a very skilled player in all three, but school has just started where I live and I can never find the time to sit down and do my homework, I'm a bright kid, but I don't put enough time into my work, also my handwriting sucks.

Sorry if this is abit off topic

Just do it before playing games...?

Remember, school is your future and you can't replay it.

Just do your homework first, and games second. I wish I would have learned that last year, since I just barely made it without having to repeat 9th grade.

How old are you? If you're around the age of 16 you can do the studying after school and when you're done with that you could game after

This is how I used to handle it: Pay attention at school, write down all the info so I don't have to revise at home. If a test is due next lesson, revise during the break before it. Also if any homework is due, do it before said lesson. I only did bigger stuff like projects at home.

That way I could game away all afternoon yet still had straight A's.

It worked for me fine, but it doesn't have to for you, so if your grades get worse just dedicate more time to school.

Easy. Get home then do homework. Reward yourself by playing games AFTER the work is done.

There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Just some helpful stuff: You're - You are, Your - Your car, They're - They are, Their - Their car, There - Over there.

Pay attention in class (difficult for most for some unknown reason) and do work in class. That way you don't have to do a lot at home. It's what I did and got through high school no troubles at all (Going to uni now).

School>games

Sounds like something boring your parents would say but you should just go for your education and spend whatever free time you have on what you want. (social life, gaming, other hobbies)

congrats on your 777 post

Yeah. I have learned my ways.

I don't play games much, only because I don't play multiplayer games.

When Arkham Knight drops, I'll be in my room for a week :P

The next COD? Ha, no thanks.

Pay attention and do all the work you can in school. Most of the homework is "finish the work that you should've finished here in home" Use games as your reward, do your homework as soon as you get in your home, don't play and do homework, that's a bad idea. 1 thing at a time.

When you finish and if you have some spare time, play.

Please put school first and gaming second. I've learnt my lesson from results this year. It is definitely not worth it. Do well in school get yourself the grades. You'll have plenty of time to play games in the holidays and weekends.
