Looking for a good camera

Mainly for photography like uses.

I'm on a budget, so somewhere from $150-350 is all i can spend; all i really want is not clean, and crisp images.

Does anyone know of a camera that would fit me for my needs, and not drill a hole in my wallet?

I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends.

Nikon D3100 should be around that price

Canon doesn't have too much on the low end. I think their lowest end model is the T3i

D5100 is a good choice.  Take a look around for decently quality used cameras.  Anything from nikon and canon should be good.

I suggest looking at the following:

1. Sony Alpha A3000 - Slow but delivers very clean images for the price

2. Samsung NX2000 - Price had gone down but you might miss the flash (sold separately)

3. Canon EOS M - Price had gone down but you might miss the flash (sold separately)
