what is the best AIO for silence?

Currently I have an H100 with a pair of Noctua NF-F12's, and it performs pretty good for keeping an i5 3570K @4.6Ghz cool (65-75C under load), but recently it seems to be getting louder to the point that i can turn every fan in my case off, and my GPU fan as low as it will go, and the computer is still as loud, what is the best option to go with, preferably with a 240mm rad for any future case compatibility.

What I've looked at so far:

Corsair H100i

Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme

Silverstone H220X

Silverstone H320 (still available at NCIX)

I'm also looking at air cooling, but i might be going to M-Itx soon, so not many large towers will fit.

The EVGA mITX Cooler should work great with your mITX rig...

The H100i and the H105 is all I can think of, the Thermaltakes are pretty quiet too, but Corsair's quality is usually better than TT.

Don't get the H220X. It's a fail design. Look closely at the res.

H100i seems good to me, but pretty much all of these all-in-ones liquid coolers are going to get louder and fail, after a certain time. So, I'd personally get an air cooler. Yes, they can be a bit bulky, but there's nothing that can fail on them, except for the fan. But, it's a fan.

Take a look at some air coolers on the market in your price range (I can say that the be quiet! Dark Rock 3 is great.)

you can get another AIO, but the performance difference between them is

usually 5-8° and you still might have a noise issue. either buy a better and

quieter fan or start to look into a custom loop. another thing is that mITX

builds can be hard enough without more plumbing issues. if you are having

issues in mATX or ATX, the problems will follow you into the mITX build.

i have like 300 to spend, i don't have a price range, but the NH-D14 that i'm looking at for an air cooler probably won't fit in the Prodigy :P

H105 with some SP120's or Noctuas or you're rich.

SP120's aren't that great for rad's. the rounded frame causes pressure loss

It really doesn't make that much of a difference, I switched from a 900D to a R4, and barelyyy noticed a difference.

h220x is a good option then.

I wasn't telling you to switch fans, I was essentially saying they aren't as bad as people say.

Whats wrong with the h220x's res?

It's blocking some space of one fan. Another fail design from Swiftech.

Not a big deal ofc but just not as efficient.

didn't linus prove that, push/pull is pointless?

First of all, push/pull is not pointless. It's just not worth it.

Second, I never said the res blocking part of the rad had anything to do with push/pull. If you had a res blocking some part of your rad, less air will be able to go through it. Like I said, it's less efficient that way.
