In store only and there isn't one near me.

Too bad, that's actually cheaper than a 4790k.

a 4790k at microcenter is $280, though

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

It's more expensive everywhere except microcenter.

Hmm what are the chances of getting Amazon to price match one of these? They usually don't at all right?

I would think it would be vice versa, microcenter match amazon prices but i don't know anything about microcenter, although frys would match any internet price.

Hmm no I mean I want to buy the 5820K off of Amazon but they sell it for $394.99 while Microcenter In-Store sells in for $299.99... So I need Amazon to price match Microcenter.

i don't think that will work, amazon doesn't price match, possibly microcenter price match amazon prices or you can drive to micro center

Yeah MC is right down the street... just would rather use my Amazon Credit towards it. It's like free spending money! except when the bill comes

@cthomas1489

There's also a $40 discount off the motherboard.So with something like the ASRock Extreme4 you could buy the 5820K and an LGA 2011-3 motherboard for $500, not including tax which would be another $50.

For comparison Newegg has the same motherboard and processor for $630.

How does Micro Center have cheaper prices for in store than anywhere else does for online orders? Does anybody actually go into the store and get the items at the prices they have listed or are they sold out/limited quantities?
