PSU Screws... Help

Matthew12106

So after buying a new case and being confused on why the manual said 'Psu Screws' rather than saying which screw inparticular I realise that power supplies come with their own screws O.o

Alright so some back story I built my rig about a year ago was a bit of noob back than, so I don't even think I realised back than that powersupplies come with their own screws I think I just used random screws from the case screws. Anyway so I am moving cases and I'm looking for my psu screws. So in my spare parts box with all the leftover stuff from my build  I found this bag

So I think that is those so I looked up the unboxing of this product on Neweggs youtube channel Now if you look at 4:00 in the video you can see when he unboxed the PSU he finds a bag of accessories as well.

Now the bag looks the same size but I don't have the molex to floppy connector which is weird I have no floppy drives. Also I seem to have some other screws but they might of been random screws I threw into there from my case screws Idk. They look like these screws I have I know it's to tell even at 1080p in the video but they have the same colour atleast. Do these look like PSU screws to you

Does it matter that much? Screws are screws, if they fit, they're fine.

@juretrn has it about right. Those screws look like PSU screws, but most HDDs and several other components use those screws as well. There are basically two types of screw (when it comes to PC building), coarsely and finely threaded. Almost everything is threaded for one of these two screws and most PC screws will work regardless of what the head looks like. Needless to say there are custom screws for some things, but I'm sure you will know them when you see them.

You can always read manuals to make sure, there's no shame in it :D

"PSU brands are meaningless, look up the OEM."
