Hello, I'm new to this "computer building world" and I want to know how many fans does my case can handle. I am planning to buy MSI Z97 Gaming Motherboard with Corsair 120mm AF Silent addition x4 and Corsair 140mm AF Silent addition x2. Will it be perfectly fine?

I fear you may run out of fan headers for your fans however, you can get a PWM fan splitter or hub which connects to a fan header on the motherboard and then the fans are connected to it thus ensuring all fans will be able to be connected and you can add more if desired.

Take it ease on him....he said he was new to the whole PC thing.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

There's more than one MSI Z97 Gaming too :)

odds are: not without a splitter I've not seen many boards with support for 6 fans.

You can use splitters on all mobo headers. So double number of headers to get amount of possible fans.

not sure if the fans you're buying will be 3 pin or 4 pin,

Dubble check that so it fits with the splitters and anny splitters should work fine :)

Depending on the looks of your build you might want to get special colors,

But that's up to you ^^

EDIT: It might be hard to get a good looking build without  wires all over though,

But it's hard to predict that without planning out where all fans will go, where all fan connectors on the mb are and the length of every single wire.
