Enermax ETS-T40-TB vs Hyper 212 EVO

unSatisfied

I was recently told by a few people that the Enermax ETS-T40-TB outperforms the Hyper 212 EVO for the same price at newegg, and that it's more quiet as well. Is this true? What are your opinions?

The 212 is the tried and true option. I'd just get whichever one takes your fancy.

Thanks for the reply, i would go with the Noctua NH-D14/15, however i still cannot stand how ugly it looks, and i will be building my new system in a NZXT H440, so i want something that looks somewhat decent.

You might want to look at the Dark Rock Pro 3 then if you're after looks :)

I heard that CPU heatsink is a pain in the ass to install, and i really don't want to waste 2 hours of time everytime i want to re apply thermal paste or remove the cooler for whatever reason.

depends how big your hands are :)

I have a hyper 412s (which is same price as 212 evo where I am). It performs the same but looks better (nice textured aluminium top-plate and nickel plated heatpipes) than the 212 :) (enough to hold my 4690k @ 4.7ghz/1.31v @ ~80c)

I think i'm going to go with the Enermax ETS-40-TB or the Dark Rock Pro 3, does anyone know how i can find out which RAM won't have compatibility issues with it (RAM Height)?
