Windows 8.1 Ethernet Connection Help

Just booted up my newly custom build PC and installed windows 8.1.

I tried opening up a webpage to install all the drivers  and updates, but it shows I'm not connected to the internet.

The internet works just fine, im connected right now with the same ethernet cable on my other desktop.

But when I swap over the ethernet cable to my new computer, even trouble shooting cant pick up the ethernet connection.

My only options that show in Network and Sharing Center are Broadband (PPPoE) and Dial-up.

Looking for some guidance on how to get it working.

 

Mobo: Asus Z97-AR

Install the drivers off of the disc that came with the motherboard.

You need to install your motherboard LAN drivers from the CD that came with your motherboard or a USB

You need to install your motherboard LAN drivers from the CD that came with your motherboard or a USB
