how to mirror screen to another machine?

Judahnator

Is there a program in existence (preferably free) that can mirror in real-time desktops to another machine? Me and a friend were thinking about doing a joint twitch-stream and wanted to be able to switch between the two of us on the same channel.

I could setup one of my servers with OBS to stream out from and have myself and him in separate scenes, but how do i get the video feed from our computers to the server? Since everything will be done on the same LAN, can this be done with VLC's network streaming?

Thanks,

Why not just do a dual stream?

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm sure remote desktop would work, but the frame rate would probably be low

Something like this (ridiculous I know) would probably yield better results
