intel stock cooler overlocking

asim1999

i know everyone hates the stock coolers, but how far can you push an LGA1150/2011 CPU on the stock cooler? also, how far can you overclock a CPU using the Alienware watercooler and intel's own custom water-cooler?

i hate alienware, terrible quality, customer service ( Dell) and incredibly bad value ( almost as bad as Apple). i have never owned one but its bad from what i have heard. the RGB lighting on their products is pretty cool tho IMO.

Not much if at all, buy a decent cooler even a cheap EVO 212 is a great option!

intels own custom water cooler what? Alienware water cooler? ...... If you have these then why are you using the stock cooler?

If you are buying a new cooler.. why would you buy either of these there are hundred on the market

(Also there is nothing wrong with Apple or Alienware for that matter, some of us (including me) have had a great experience)

Overclocking with stock cooler... possible but really good chip. But wouldn't suggest it unless you really know what you are doing. And since you needed to post this, you propably don't know.

As for WC, same thing. Depends on chip.
