Slow internet, help please

So, what can I do? 3-4 months ago the connection was fine (over 5Mbps) but now it's awful

I tried DMT to decrease the SNR margin but it didn't reduce anything, telnet doesn't show any option to change the SNR margin.

I've tried with 2 routers but the situation is the same (dlink 2570b and netgear dgn2200v4)

Is the issue just this one PC? Or any PC you try to connect to the internet with?

k then the only thing you can do is contact your ISP and tell them to fix your internet or you will switch providers. It seems like an issue on their end.

I enjoy topics like this because I miss telecommunications, ANYWAYS

ISP is best option, They can find any fault on the line and if they do they will resolve it and if they dont you can ask for many things

The best thing is a DSLAM move to an non congested DSLAM. The will provide more bandwidth for your line

Port rebuild will refresh and rebuild the current config improving your line

If none of the above, then distance from exchange is an issue.

The SNR margin went up even more, I hope they fix it soon enough or I'll have to change ISP :\
