Apple Cinema LED Display Size

SammyG145

Hey Guys

If any of you have one of the 27" Apple Cinema Displays (Thunderbolt and Cinema version)

Any chance you could measure the actual screen size top to bottom, I'm thinking of buying one and I would like two monitors in portrait either side of them.

And before anyone tries to recommend me a different 1400p monitor. Unless you can find one that has the same clean look the Apple one does.

Thanks in advance guys!

Hey Guys

The dimensions are on the apple website if you spent more than 10 seconds looking

its an ok display but for the money I would not even BOTHER to buy one, there are better monitors out there, if you want a good looking one the llyama XB2779QS is quite smart, or perhaps a sleek black like my AOC Q2770PQU which has a usb 3 hub built in, and has height adjust pivot swivel and rotate (the apple monitor is fixed)

Height: 49.1 cm (19.35 inches)

Width: 65 cm (25.7 inches)

Depth (with stand): 20.7 cm (8.15 inches)

Weight: 10.8 kg (23.5 pounds)

I love apple but I would not buy the display (except the thunderbolt one if I used a thunder-box macbook pro but even then I could argue against it)

you know, that you would need an extra stand for that purpose and two VESA Adapters from Apple?

Also you can't use the Thunderbolt displays without a Thunderbolt connector ;)

Those sizes are with the stand on, I play on using the VESA mount adapter and putting in on a three arm stand.

I know, the Cinema and Thunderbolt are both identical sizes

For the record I use a Cinema Display for gaming as well.  It is amazing.  The only things that could replace it would be a ROG PG278Q

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.
