what is a good budget powerline adapter?

i need a powerline adapter for a pc i will be building and i was wondering if there is a good powerline adapter for around 50 €.

 

i am also wondering if there will be a significant loss of internet speed compared to an ethernet cable.

 

 

ps: i dont know a lot about networking

Of course their is a loss, but unless u have crazy download speeds it will only affect home network

sadly i dont have crazy download speeds (40mbit/s)

so i can safely assume there wont be a bottleneck?

Oh the horrible things id do to get those speeds. Where i live it is nearly impossible to find anything good without paying big money to get on the fiber line.

 

But yes, you should be just fine. Unless of course you are going to plug one or both ends into a battery backup or multiple surge suppressors.
