im going to guess october/november for the first 800 series card to come out then up till January for the rest

Want my advice? It will be at least two gen before 1440p becomes a general thing in which all GPUs are expected to perform at decent graphics settings. for now stick with 1080p and u can have ll the eye candy you want.
