Text Scaling Fix in Windows (7+8) - For high res Screen/Surface pro 3

Hello Guys,

 

since I heard Linus talking about poor text scaling in Windows and many third party apps and programms, I want to offer you guys a simple fix for this problem. I was able to fix all my text scaling issues this way, so i can fully enjoy my high-res screen.

 

You have to find the *.exe of the programm you want to fix. That is, in some cases, the complicated part. Now just rightclick on the *.exe, go to the "Compatibility"-Tab an choose "disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

 

From now on your text will be scaled correctly. Since it is so easy and even Linus didn't mention it in his reviews, I thought it is worth sharing :)
